Prayers We Pray
Our homes are meant to be places of peace, not fear. This prayer helps you invite the presence of Jesus into every room and every corner of your life. Pray it when you sense heaviness, unrest, or tension in your space. Let it remind you that wherever Christ is welcomed, darkness has to leave.
Prayer Over Your Home
Jesus, this home belongs to You.
You are Lord here—over every room, every wall, every moment that happens inside these doors.
I dedicate this space to You again right now.
I invite Your Holy Spirit to fill every part of this home.
Let Your peace rest here.
Let Your presence dwell here.
Let Your light push out anything that is not of You.
In Your name, Jesus, I renounce every spirit of fear, confusion, or oppression.
I break agreement with anything that has tried to bring unrest or division.
Only Your Spirit is welcome here.
Every dark or unclean thing must leave now, in the name and authority of Jesus Christ.
Lord, fill this home with Your Word and Your worship.
May Your truth shape the atmosphere of this house.
May Your peace guard every heart that walks through these doors.
May Your joy replace every trace of heaviness.
Father, I ask You to post Your angels around this property—
at every door, every window, every threshold.
Let them stand guard and keep watch, as You promise in Psalm 91:
“For He will order His angels to protect you wherever you go.” (NLT)
Jesus, bless every person who lives here and everyone who visits.
Let this be a home of grace, laughter, forgiveness, and safety.
Let this space reflect Your Kingdom—filled with light, love, and rest.
I place this home, and everyone in it, fully under Your cross and Your care.
You are Lord here.
You are welcome here.
You are our peace here.
In Your strong and beautiful name, Jesus, I pray. Amen.
