Have you ever met anyone who was not afraid of failure in the least? People like that are hard to come by. Of all the fears, fear of failure seems to be one of the most common. I think everyone has experienced it at some point in their life. It can be paralyzing and can prevent us from going after our dreams. So how do we overcome that fear of failure in our lives?

The fear of the unknown tends to flood our minds with countless “what if” questions and has absolutely paralyzed some folks before. We celebrated Memorial Day on Monday in this country. A memorial is something that is used to remind people of a particular person or event. Here in the U.S., Memorial Day is meant to remind us of the many military personnel who have died while serving in the United States armed forces. It is a day to mourn those who gave their lives for our freedom. As I contemplated Memorial Day this year, I began to think about the ultimate memorial in the life of a believer.

We have all felt angry at some point. Some of us have even allowed anger to take control of us and done or said things we wish we could take back. Some of us have allowed anger to rob us of some of the best relationships in our lives. Anger is definitely one of the Goliath’s that is still around for us to fight in the here and now.
