Sabotage Part 1 - The Law of Inversion

Undermining Behavior: A need to be first.

Whenever you have pride that drives you into this “me first” mentality, eventually it's going to sabotage the different relationships that you have in your life. And unchecked it just leads to all kinds of destruction.

Ephesians 5:15-21 (NIV)

15 Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise,16 making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.17 Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.

There is an understanding in the bible, that your focus should be on how you live. Now, this is interesting because when we talk about relationships, most of our time is spent on finding the right person -- the right right friends, the right spouse.

While surrounding yourself with wise people is important, what you have to understand is that the overwhelming wisdom in the Bible, when it comes to relationships says this:

It is more important to be the right person than it is to find the right person.
